UGA alumnus, Saxby Chambliss ('66) is expected to announce that he will not seek reelection to the US Senate in 2014. I'm truly saddened by this as Georgia is losing a level-headed leader in Washington. It will also hurt our state's overall positioning as far as seniority, etc.
Curious what others think about this? And any thoughts on the right person to take over the seat in 2014?
