I think I've come down to a 8 now since Saturday. It keeps replaying in my head over and over and over. I'm just hoping the outcome will be different each time I see it.
It's kinda the same feeling I get about the '91 Braves vs. Twins, and those of you who are Braves die-hards like me can relate. I just keep seeing Kirby Puckett rounding the bases and Ron Gant running to that wall, and the ball never comes down into his glove, it goes over the wall every time. It's a hard pill to swallow when you come so close to changing the course of history and then having victory snatched away in an instant. I keep thinking would if? Would if the LB doesn't tip that pass? What happens?
I can say that I've never been more proud of this team, and this program. They represented themselves admirably. And I hope to see them back again (in the same spot) next year.
Still totally depressed! Heartbreak over the top! Proud to be a Bulldog but that was gut wrenching.
